Craig Cornett is the President/CEO of the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF), a non-profit trade association representing skilled nursing facilities and intermediate care facilities for people with intellectual disabilities.
Prior to coming to CAHF in 2017, Craig held senior staff positions in the California Legislature for 34 years, including 17 years as budget director for the California Senate and Assembly.
Craig is a member of the stakeholder advisory committee for the Governor’s Master Plan for Aging and is regularly listed in the Capitol Weekly’s annual “Top 100” political and policy players in Sacramento.
Craig received his Master of Public Affairs degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and his B.A. from Washington and Lee University.
