Rachel Bunch is Executive Director of the Arkansas Health Care Association (AHCA). With more than 15 years working in the long-term care profession, Rachel brings a wealth of experience in health care, policy, and press relations. Rachel works on legislative advocacy, federal/state regulatory review and assistance, survey compliance matters, and legal issues.
Under Rachel’s leadership, AHCA focuses on delivering policy solutions to state agencies and the Arkansas Legislature, with a special emphasis on quality care. During her tenure, AHCA has remained the state’s largest organization of long-term care providers, representing more than 90% of the licensed facilities in Arkansas.
In January 2023, Rachel was appointed to the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging. She also serves on the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Advisory Council, as well as a number of committees at both the state and national levels.
